Because of the way he was standing all alone in a snowstorm and far from the barn and others animals, I had to take his picture. I was trying to figure out what could possibly be on his mind to make him stand that way and maybe work him into a painting. Now, decades later, I finally just placed him on a hillside in Hopetown which is 20 minutes from Perth, where he at last seems to have things figured out.
