Another view of Barr's meadow, and this one shouted out moose country.
(Every time I think about this meadow, I recall a story a local told me about a tin house that stood nearby. It seems this tin house was not only covered in tin but its large kitchen had tin walls and ceiling. One day a fierce thunder and lightning storm was underway when the host beckoned a number of visitors to pull their chairs up to the table until the storm passed. As luck would have it, from one corner of the room a ball of lightning blasted out of the cistern pump and made several passes around the kitchen before exiting a window, to the amazement―and terror―of the guests.)
